Born and raised in London, Miranda is a queer writer and filmmaker whose work centres around themes of appetite and desire.
With a background as an actress, she has written and produced three short films which have gone on to win funding from Genera, premiere at BAFTA qualifying festivals, and won the Elstree Film Design and Creative England award for Best Story.
Her poetry and creative longform, have been published in zines and journals worldwide and can be found online @ThirstyPoems
Miranda is the recipient of the H.W Fisher scholarship with Curtis Brown Creative, where she studied on their inaugural three month Writing Your Novel Course under the tutorship of Charlotte Mendelson.
Her work in progress debut novel The Second Adolescence was Long-listed for the Comedy Women in Print Unpublished Manuscript Prize, and won the LGBTQ+ Free Reads Scheme with The Literary Consultancy.
Day to day Miranda works as a content manager for brands across the sustainable lifestyle industries.
